What to expect

Buda is a part of Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, located on the western bank of the Danube. Historically, Buda referred to the royal walled city on Castle Hill, which was constructed by Béla IV between 1247 and 1249. Today, Buda includes several districts of Budapest, including the Castle Quarter, and features landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Matthias Church, and the Buda Hills. The area has a rich history, having been part of the Ottoman Empire and later becoming a center of Renaissance humanist culture. With its stunning architecture, thermal baths, and scenic views, Buda is a great place to visit with family and friends
