Ilulissat

Ilulissat, also known as Jacobshavn or Jakobshav, is a town in western Greenland, located approximately 350 km north of the Arctic Circle. It is home to the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, where enormous icebergs from the most productive glacier in the northern hemisphere can be seen. The town has a population of around 4,670 people and is the third-largest city in Greenland. Ilulissat is a popular tourist destination, with activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and whale watching.
