What to expect

The Antiparos Cave, also known as the Cave of Agios Ioannis, is a natural wonder and a top attraction on the island of Antiparos. It's a vertical cave that plunges to a depth of around 85 meters, featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites, including the oldest stalactite in Europe, estimated to be 45 million years old. The cave has a unique structure, with three levels at the entrance, and is divided into three 'halls' inside, each with its own unique formations and features. The cave is a great place to visit for families, with its natural beauty and interesting history, but it's not accessible to individuals with respiratory or heart conditions due to high humidity levels
