What to expect

The Patras Odeon is an ancient Roman conservatory located in the upper town of Patras, beneath the medieval castle. It was built during the first half of the 2nd century AD and has a typical structure of an open Roman conservatory with a semicircular plan. The conservatory has a seating capacity of around 2,200-2,300 people and features a hollow, orchestra, proscenium, scene, and wings. It is now used as a venue for cultural events, including the Patras International Festival. The monument is open to visitors and offers a glimpse into the city's rich history
