Kourouta Beach is a beach located near the town of Amaliada, in the region of Dytiki Ellada, Greece. The town of Amaliada is situated in the plains of Elis, 6 km from the Ionian Sea, and features a city square with pine trees and a fountain. The beach is one of the two beaches of Amaliada, the other being Palouki, and is approximately 6 km southwest of the town centre. The area has a rich history, with the archaeological site of Elis, the city-state whose territory was the site of the ancient Olympic Games, located nearby
