Richtis Gorge is a beautiful gorge in Crete, Greece, with a length of 5 km and a depth of 20 m. The gorge starts at the traditional village Exo Mouliana and ends at the secluded Richtis beach, just east of the village Kalavros. The hiking trail is about 4 km in length and has a moderate to hard difficulty level, depending on the season. The trail features rich vegetation, including platanus trees, wild berries, and local flowers and herbs, as well as old stone bridges and water mills. The highlight of the gorge is the beautiful Richtis Waterfall, with a height of over 20 meters, and the small pond formed below it. The beach at the end of the gorge is pebbly and has a small park with tamarisk trees, stone seats and tables, and a water fountain with potable water
