Activities: We walked from the Acropolis down the hill to the north and found a great little restaurant for lunch in the Monastiraki District, where the Ancient Agora of Athens is located. We visited Thanksgiving week in November 2022, and things were surprisingly still pretty busy!
Highlights: We really enjoyed seeing the Temple of Hephaestus which is so well preserved it gives you a great feel for the beauty of the architecture, the immense scale of the building features, and the skill of the marble workers ✨

Activities: We explored the large park at the foot of the Acropolis. The most interesting structures are the Temple of Hephaestus, well-preserved due to its conversion to a church, and the Church of the Holy Apostles. The park's grassy area allows kids to roam freely
