Altenburg with children: From the castle to the map-making workshop
This family's experience:

Activities: We visited the Residenzschloss Altenburg. We strolled through the Schlosspark and then through the Burghof. We explored the chambers and treasures, and the Spielkartenmuseum (playing card museum). Without a guided tour, we decided to visit the herzöglichen Schatzkammern on our own

Highlights: The Stilmix of the castle was wonderful. The children enjoyed exploring the different rooms. We didn't do the tour because we had a Kleinkind. We liked that the Spielkartenmuseum offers workshops to make your own playing card ✨
