Hohwacht is a small municipality in the Plön district of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, situated directly on the Baltic Sea coast within the Hohwachter Bucht. It features expansive sandy beaches, steep wooded cliffs, and adjacent nature reserves that emphasize low-density development and preservation of its natural landscape, drawing tourists for water sports, hiking, and golfing at the local 120-hectare course.
