Leipzig with children: Our program for a day trip
This family's experience:

Activities: We went to Völkerschlachtdenkmal. We walked around it to admire its enormous dimensions and it was a good opportunity to explain the Befreiungskriege. From there, we took the tram or S-Bahn to the center of Leipzig. We didn't visit the museum because it opens at 10 am

Highlights: The monument is a massive colossus! It commemorates the great battle that took place around Leipzig in 1813. We were impressed by its 91 meters height. It was a good place to start the day. There is free parking and you can take the tram or S-Bahn to the city center ✨
