Nonnenfelsen is a rock formation located in the Zittau Mountains, near the city of Jonsdorf in Saxony, Germany. It is part of a nature reserve and offers a challenging hike with steep ascents and rocky passages, requiring good physical condition and surefootedness. The hike leads through a mixture of forest trails, narrow rock stairs, and panoramic paths along the ridge sections, offering a 360-degree view from the Lausche tower over the Bohemian highlands to the Giant Mountains. The rugged rock world of the Nonnenfelsen features deep chasms and is a highlight of the tour. The trail is 6.3 miles long, with an elevation gain of 1,528 feet, and takes about 3.5-4 hours to complete
