Schloss Osnabrück is a historic castle that was once the residence of the Protestant Osnabrücker Fürstbischof Ernst August I. von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and his wife Sophie von der Pfalz. The castle features a four-winged Baroque-style building with a Corps de Logis, which includes living and guest rooms, economic rooms, a stable, a chapel, and a festival hall. The castle's garden, designed by Sophie von der Pfalz, is also notable and features various sculptures, including the Lyra-Denkmals.
