The Pyramid in Schaumburg Forest is a step pyramid family mausoleum located near the Baum Hunting Lodge in the Schaumburg Forest. The mausoleum was built in 1776 by Count Wilhelm zu Schaumburg Lippe and features an eastern-facing portico portal. The pyramid is situated in a wooded park with alleyways and is part of the larger Bückeburg Palace grounds, which include a Renaissance palace complex, a Royal Riding School, and beautiful gardens with baroque features such as pergolas, fountains, and a maze. The palace grounds also house a large private mausoleum with a gold dome, which is the largest private mausoleum in the world
