Schaumburg Forest: The Secret of the Pyramid at Baum Castle

Schaumburg Forest: The Secret of the Pyramid at Baum Castle
This family's experience:

Activities: We went to the Mausoleum. The kids wanted to see the pyramid. "An entry door of the tomb." We saw the new spiral path and the beech hedges that are still young. It is a historical place with the tomb of Graf Wilhelm and his family. The family explored the surroundings and looked at the inscription

Highlights: The kids were curious about "who is buried there?". We talked about the history of the Graf and his family, especially his daughter Emilie who died of tuberculosis. The kids were impacted for a moment when they heard this sad story. They also found some fallen tree trunks, inviting them to climb ✨
