The Mausoleum im Schaumburger Wald is a magnificent and mysterious domed building, standing at 42 meters tall, making it the world's largest private mausoleum. It is located in a side park of Bückeburg Palace, which is still the ancestral seat of the Princes of Schaumburg-Lippe. The palace complex features a Renaissance palace with four wings, a Royal Riding School, and a gorgeous garden with typical baroque features, including pergolas, fountains, and a maze.
