What to expect

The Nordsee Aquarium is a great place for families to discover the fascinating underwater world of the North Sea. The aquarium features 16 themed pools with a variety of fish and sea creatures, including cat sharks, cod, herring, sea bass, and many others. Visitors can also see plaice, sole, and turbot burrowing into the sandy bottom, shore crabs and shrimp wandering about, and hermit crabs dragging their snail shells. The aquarium is easily accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, making it a great destination for families with young children. The aquarium also offers craft fun for young and old, and visitors are allowed to take photos without flash for private use
