Bad Essen with children: dinosaurs, brine, half-timbered houses
This family's experience:

Activities: We visited the Dinosaurierfährten, which are about ten kilometers outside of the city. We walked about 200 meters uphill to see the dinosaur footprints, which are very well preserved. "We read all the information boards and looked at everything comprehensively." We spent about half an hour there

Highlights: The "footsteps of the primeval giants" are really well preserved and the "entertainment value is good for such a manageable and free attraction." We also enjoyed the "real dinosaurs," the life-size models of a Langhals-Sauropode and a Megalosaurier ✨
