What to expect

The Römer is a medieval building in the Altstadt of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and one of the city's most important landmarks. It has been the city hall of Frankfurt for over 600 years and is located opposite the Old St. Nicholas Church. The building complex has been continuously extended over the years, with eleven houses connected to each other, resulting in a rather confusing interior. The Römer is not only a significant historical building but also a popular tourist destination, with its neogothic front, balcony, and Kaisersaal. Visitors can explore the building and its surroundings, including the Römerberg plaza, and enjoy the annual Christmas market that takes place on the forecourt. The Römer is also a popular spot for weddings, with its beautiful wedding rooms located in the first and second floor of the Haus Löwenstein
