Miniatur Wunderland is the largest model railway system in the world, featuring different countries and landmarks in miniature size. The exhibit includes over 1,545 square meters of miniature landscapes, with more than 290,000 figures and 1,040 trains. Visitors can explore various sections, including Hamburg, the Harz mountains, Austria, America, Scandinavia, Switzerland, and Italy. The model railway system also features a day-night lighting cycle and almost 500,000 built-in LED lights. "The mechanical miniature landscapes show us not only Hamburg, Central Germany and the fictional Knuffingen, but also half of Europe and overseas." The VR tour was also a hit, where the children were "shrunk" and walked around

Activities: We went to Miniatur Wunderland. "It was cool. In MiWuLa there were electric trains, and there were seats, like when you sit in a train."
Highlights: Mama liked the small things best, which could be discovered. Janis liked the airport best. "I liked Switzerland best, because there were so many mountains, with tunnels where trains passed through." ✨
