Alpine village Germany

What to expect

Engalm is an Alpine village in the Karwendel mountains, home to around 240 dairy cows grazing on lush green meadows surrounded by over 2,000 ancient maple trees. The village is a popular destination for families and a starting point for numerous hiking and mountaineering routes. Visitors can explore the show dairy and farm shop, where they can watch cheesemakers at work and purchase a variety of award-winning cheeses, including the unique Enger Ahornkönig. The village also offers overnight stays and a restaurant serving typical Tyrolean food. The Engalm is situated in a beautiful area with wide open spaces and striking contrasts between lush green meadows and rugged limestone cliffs, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
