Wuhletal is a railway station in the Kaulsdorf district of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf borough of Berlin. The station consists of two island platforms paired by direction, with the S-Bahn serving the outer faces of each platform and the U-Bahn the inner faces of the same platforms. The Wuhletal is also a green corridor in the northeastern Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf on the river Wuhle. The area is home to more than 260 species of ferns and flowering plants, some of which are rare, and 23 protected animal species, including the brown hare. The Wuhletalweg is a 15-kilometre hiking trail that leads along the Wuhle from Ahrensfelde to where it flows into the Spree, making it a great place for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers

Activities: We hiked in the northern Wuhletal. We followed the Wuhle river and climbed the Ahrensfelder Berg. We had a picnic. Then, we returned through the forest, saw murals on the buildings of Hellersdorf, and ended by swinging in the Kienbergpark
