What to expect
Volkspark Hasenheide is a 50-hectare urban park in the Neukölln quarter of Berlin. The park has a long history, dating back to 1678 when it was used as a rabbit enclosure. It was later used as a hunting ground by the Great Elector and became a site for gymnastics and sports in the 19th century. Today, the park offers a range of activities and amenities, including an open-air cinema, an animal enclosure, a mini golf course, a rose garden, and several playgrounds. The park also features a hill made from World War II rubble, known as the Rixdorfer Höhe, which offers great views of the surrounding area. Families can enjoy the park's many facilities, including the Neukölln Zoo and the large playground 'Fairytales from 1001 Nights'
