Treptower Park

Treptower Park is a popular public park located alongside the river Spree in Berlin. The park offers a unique mix of river landscape, extensive meadows, tranquil areas, gardens, and places to eat and drink. Visitors can stroll along the riverside path, rent a pedal boat, or take a trip on a river boat. The park is also home to the Soviet War Memorial, which commemorates the 80,000 Soviet soldiers who fell in the Battle of Berlin. The memorial features a 30-meter-high monument and is the gravesite of about 7,000 Soviet soldiers. Additionally, the park has a restaurant and beer garden, as well as an observatory with the world's longest moving refracting telescope.
