Tempelhofer Feld is a large public park in Berlin, formerly the site of Tempelhof Airport. The park offers a six-kilometre cycling, skating and jogging trail, a 2.5-hectare BBQ area, a dog-walking field, and an enormous picnic area for all visitors. It's a great place for families to spend time together, with plenty of space for kids to run around, fly kites, and play games like skateboarding, in-line skating, and bicycling. The park also has an urban gardening section where residents grow their own fruits and vegetables. The history of Tempelhofer Feld dates back over 700 years, and visitors can learn about its past through an information trail with 20 places of remembrance and memorials

Activities: We visited Tempelhofer Feld. The children were able to run around and enjoy the open space. We used the sports areas and the playgrounds. There are also community gardens and areas for the fieldfares
Highlights: The children enjoyed the freedom to run around on the airfield. "Enjoy the sun and the vastness in spring and autumn, fly kites, grill, and observe unusual sports, for example Jugger or wind skating." The wide open space was great for letting off steam ✨
