What to expect

The Reichstag building is a historic legislative government building that is the seat of the German Bundestag. It is also the meeting place of the Federal Convention, which elects the President of Germany. The building was constructed between 1884 and 1894 in the Tiergarten district and has undergone several renovations, including a major redesign by Norman Foster from 1995 to 1999. Activities: We visited the Reichstag building and joined a family tour through the Bundestag. We also visited the Kuppel (dome) and the Dachterrasse (rooftop terrace)

Highlights: The family tour was good, but it wasn't really suitable for children under 10. The view from the top, over 40 meters high, was fantastic! We could even enjoy a coffee ✨
