The Langer See is a lake situated in the south-eastern outskirts of Berlin, the capital city of Germany. It is approximately 11 kilometers long and forms part of the course of the River Dahme. The lake is navigable and is mainly used by water sports enthusiasts. There are several islands in the lake, including Rohrwall Island, Little Rohrwall, and Big Rohrwall. The lake has excellent water quality, although the depth of visibility can be very shallow due to algae growth. There are several sailing clubs and lidos along the lake, including the Wendenschloß lido and the Grünau lido, which offer sandy beaches, sports facilities, and restaurants. The lake is also home to a regatta course, which is one of the oldest sports facilities still in use in Berlin
