The Großer Stern is a public square in the heart of the Großer Tiergarten park in Berlin, home to the Berlin Victory Column. The square is surrounded by several streets, including the Straße des 17. Juni, Hofjägerallee, Altonaer Straße, and Spreeweg. The Victory Column, also known as the Siegessäule, is a 67-meter-high monument that commemorates Germany's victories against Denmark, Austria, and France between 1864 and 1871. The column is topped with a bronze sculpture of Victoria, the goddess of victory, and offers panoramic views of the city from its viewing platform. Visitors can climb the 285 steps to the top for a great view of the Tiergarten park and the nearby Bellevue Palace

Activities: The Großer Stern is a four-lane roundabout in the middle of which the Siegessäule with the winged Victoria towers into the "sky over Berlin". The bus line 100 drives straight over the Großer Stern
Highlights: The kids enjoyed the Siegessäule with the winged Victoria. Because it shines so golden in the sun, the Berliners call it Goldelse. On the column there is a viewing platform ✨
