The Städtisches Museum Zirndorf is a museum that showcases the history and development of the tin toy industry in Zirndorf, as well as the town's role during the Thirty Years' War. The museum has two main thematic focuses: the ground floor documents the history of the Zirndorf tin toy industry, with exhibits on spinning tops, toy trumpets, music boxes, and other kitchenware for children, while the upper floor is dedicated to Zirndorf's role during the Thirty Years' War, including the Battle of the Alte Veste in 1632. The museum also offers special exhibitions and educational programs for visitors of all ages

Activities: We spent some time at the museum. In the ground floor, the history of the local toy industry is on display, with a large play area for children. Nunu spent 90% of the time in the play area while we looked at the rest of the exhibition
Highlights: It was great to see the exhibits, especially for the kids. The play area was fantastic for the kids, while we could look around. The building itself dates back to the 17th century. The story of the local toy industry, including the metal spinning top invented and produced in Zirndorf, was interesting ✨
