Day trip: 8 hours in Regensburg with children

Day trip: 8 hours in Regensburg with children
This family's experience:

Activities: We strolled from the parking garage towards the Old Town and immediately stumbled upon the impressive cathedral. Inside, we looked for the laughing angel and the preserved human bones. We were tempted by a guided tour but decided against it, instead, we simply let the imposing pillars and the 32-meter-high nave affect us

Highlights: Our boys, not exactly art enthusiasts, stood in awe of the main portal and admired the rich decorations. They found more exciting things like the preserved human bones. They also enjoyed the visit, because they were impressed by the size of the building ✨
