What to expect
The Nebelhorn is a 2,224-metre-high mountain in the Allgäu Alps in Germany, near the village of Oberstdorf. The Nebelhornbahn cable car takes you up to 2,224 metres, where you can enjoy a 400-metre summit view and a panoramic viewing platform. In winter, the Nebelhorn is a first-class ski resort with pistes of all levels of difficulty. The valley run is one of the longest in Germany, and there are also opportunities for cross-country skiers, tobogganists, and snowshoe hikers

Allgäu: The most beautiful hikes with small children
Activities: We went up to Nebelhorn with the kids. We went up from the valley station in Oberstdorf to the summit station and back to the Höfatsblick mountain station. We found a fun snowfield, and walked along a path through beautiful mountain meadows
Highlights: We had so much fun seeing the beautiful blooming mountain meadows! It was exciting to see the paragliders take off from the Höfatsblick ✨
