What to expect
Kanzelwand is a mountain in the Allgäu Alps, located near Oberstdorf in Bavaria, Germany. It offers various hiking trails for all skill levels, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The area is also home to the Fellhorn/Kanzelwand ski resort, which provides 36 km of slopes and 2 km of ski routes, suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels. The ski resort features modern lifts, including an 8-person gondola, and offers panoramic views from the summit. Families can enjoy the scenic valley runs, and there are also opportunities for refreshments at several alpine huts and restaurants

Allgäu: The most beautiful hikes with small children
Activities: We did a short, playful panorama route around Kanzelwand. We went from the Bergstation to an observation point with a bench, then down to Riezler Alpsee and the Burmiwasser, a water playground with various stations. It was a nice walk
Highlights: The kids loved the Burmiwasser! They spent a long time experimenting with water wheels and dams. They were happy and played with the water ✨
