What to expect
The Ruine Auerburg is a castle ruin located in Oberaudorf, Bavaria, Germany. It offers a magnificent view over Oberaudorf and the Inntal, as well as the Kaiser Mountains and the Tyrolean neighboring mountains. Visitors can hike up to the Schloßberg, where the ruin is situated, and explore the surrounding area. The hike is relatively short and can be completed within a few minutes. In summer, llamas can be encountered on the Schloßberg. Several information boards are available on the Schloßberg, providing insights into the history of Auerburg

Summer in Oberaudorf with children - the 5 best experiences
Activities: We did a very nice, child-friendly 2km round trip from the center of Oberaudorf to Schlossberg and Ruine Auerburg. We enjoyed the views into the Inntal and towards Austria. We also encountered llamas and sheep
