The Rathaus-Glockenspiel is a famous attraction in Munich, located in the New City Hall on Marienplatz. It is a carillon that plays music and shows scenes from Munich's history, including the wedding of Duke Wilhelm V and Renate of Lorraine, and the Schäfflertanz dance. The Glockenspiel is powered by solar energy and has 43 bells, making it the fifth largest in Europe. Visitors can enjoy the show daily at 11am and 12pm, and from March to October, also at 5pm. In the evening, at 9pm, the night watchman blows his horn while the angel blesses the Münchner Kindl. The New City Hall also offers a viewing gallery with a great view of the city, and guided tours are available to explore the building's history and architecture
