The last few meters to the Zugspitze are dangerous - that's why there is now a second summit cross
This family's experience:

Activities: We went to the Zugspitze with the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn. We went to the top and looked at the views and the golden Gipfelkreuz. We also looked at the Eibsee from the platform. "For children, the Zugspitze is a mega beautiful experience."

Highlights: We enjoyed the "breathtaking" views from the Zugspitze, especially when the sun was out. It's a very touristy place, but for a good reason. "It's worth it to be there early and take the first gondola up to share the spectacle with only a few other early risers." ✨
