Walderlebnispfad Farchant

Trail Farchant, Bavaria, Germany

What to expect

The Walderlebnispfad Farchant is a forest adventure trail that features the Kuhflucht Waterfalls, a series of waterfalls with a cumulative height of 270m, making it one of Germany's tallest waterfalls. The trail offers a gradual incline through a lightly forested path with benches and interpretive signs, including a 'tree telephone' and an 'animal long jump' for kids. The trail also coincides with the Königsweg, or King's Path, which was hiked by King Maximilian II in 1858. Along the way, visitors can see several small waterfalls and cascades, and learn exciting facts about the forest at play and puzzle stations

This family's experience:

Activities: We went on the Walderlebnispfad. My son was in his element. He estimated better than I did. We also enjoyed the tree telephone, a concert on the forest xylophone and rested in a deck chair

Highlights: My son loved the interactive elements, such as the tree questions and the xylophone. It gave him a boost ✨
