Musée de l'Obersalzberg

The Musée de l'Obersalzberg, also known as Dokumentation Obersalzberg, is a museum located in the Obersalzberg resort near Berchtesgaden, Germany. The museum provides information on the use of the mountainside retreat by Nazi leaders, especially Adolf Hitler, who regularly spent time in this area beginning in 1928. The museum was opened in 1999 and offers a permanent exhibition that explains the history of the location and tells the story of the site and its victims. The exhibition includes over 350 objects, documents, photographs, and multimedia elements, as well as a historic bunker complex.
