Tübingen

Tübingen is a traditional university city in central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The city has a medieval fabric almost wholly intact and is home to the Eberhard Karls University, one of the oldest universities north of the Alps. Tübingen is situated in the Neckar valley, surrounded by the Schönbuch forest and the Swabian Alb mountains. The city has a young population, with an average age of just under 40, due to the presence of nearly 28,700 students. The city's old town is characterized by its narrow streets, historic buildings, and the collegiate church of St. George.
