The Todtnau Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in the Black Forest of southwestern Germany, near the town of Todtnau in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg. The waterfall has a height of 97m and is one of the highest natural waterfalls in Baden-Württemberg. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting over 400,000 visitors each year. The waterfall is surrounded by a beautiful valley and is accessible via a short and flat 15-minute walk, which is also wheelchair accessible. There are also interesting chairs that allow visitors to lie down and stare up at the top of the waterfall, as well as a sheltered lookout for taking pictures. The waterfall is under monumental protection and is considered one of the most beautiful natural monuments in Germany. In the winter, the waterfall freezes into a bizarre formation of oversized icicles.
