Sankt Blasien Abbey, located in the town of Sankt Blasien in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, is a historic abbey with a rich history dating back to the 9th century. The abbey was rebuilt in the 18th century by master builder Michael Beer of Blaichten and features a magnificent baroque facade. Today, the abbey is home to a Jesuit college-preparatory school, Kolleg St. Blasien, which has around 800 students, including 300 boarders. The abbey's historical rooms, including the former court dining hall, ballroom, and parlours, can be viewed during designated times. The ballroom also hosts regular concerts. The abbey has a long history of influence and has been associated with several other religious houses and priories in the region
