Affenberg Salem is a unique attraction where visitors can observe Berber monkeys living in a 20-hectare forest, similar to their natural habitat. The area also features a stork colony, a stork pond with large carp, and a petting zoo. The Affenberg-Schenke restaurant and beer garden offer a place to relax, and the adventure playground 'little ranger' provides entertainment for children. Visitors can participate in moderated feedings and learn interesting facts about the animals. The Affenberg Salem stork station, founded in 1978, plays a crucial role in protecting white storks and has contributed to the increase of the stork population in Baden-Wuerttemberg from 15 to over 2000 pairs. The station provides food for the storks, which helps to increase their breeding success, and also offers a rescue station for injured storks and orphaned young. With its unique blend of animal observation, education, and family-friendly activities, Affenberg Salem is an ideal destination for families

Highlights: Our children had a great time at Affenberg Salem! The play and climbing stations and the adventure playground were highlights. We received free entry with the Bodensee Card PLUS. It should be on your list if you are exploring Lake Constance with kids! ✨
