The lake is approximately 700 meters long and 400 meters wide, and its water level was raised by about 6 meters in 1895. The Windgfällweiher is also a protected area, and since 2002, there has been a ban on angling and fish consumption due to the presence of PCB in the sediment. The lake is surrounded by wooded areas and offers scenic views, making it a great spot for nature lovers and those looking for a relaxing getaway
