Schlüchtsee Lake

The Schlüchtsee is a small, artificial lake in the Southern Black Forest near Grafenhausen in the county of Waldshut in Germany. It is a popular spot for bathing and angling, and is part of a nature reserve. The lake has a shoreline of approximately 0.73 kilometers and is up to 5 meters deep. One third of the lake is inhabited by water lilies and ducks, and bathing is not permitted in that section. The lake is surrounded by a full-grown forest and has a sunbathing lawn with a shallow shore where small children can splash about under supervision. A snack bar with a sun terrace, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities are available. The lake is also a great place for hiking and walking, with several routes and trails in the surrounding area
