Ailefroide Torrent

Ailefroide is a preserved, magical place located in the heart of the Ecrins massif, at the top of the superb Vallouise valley. It is situated on the border of the Ecrins National Park, offering various activities such as hiking, climbing, and mountaineering for both beginners and experienced mountaineers. The area is surrounded by notable points of interest, including Briançon, the highest town in Europe, Serre Ponçon lake, the largest artificial lake in Europe, and Boscodon Abbey. Ailefroide is also a great place for winter activities, with snowshoeing paths and a serene atmosphere. The Ailefroide loop is a pleasant circuit that leads back to Ailefroide, offering a lovely paved path edged by walls and stones, and passing close to chalets and an avalanche path
