The Chapelle de Clausis is a chapel located in the town of Saint-Véran, in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of France. It is situated at an altitude of 2400 meters, overlooking the Aigue Blanche valley. The chapel was built in 1846 and renovated in 1988. Every year, a celebration is held on July 16th in honor of Notre Dame du Mont Carmel. The chapel is surrounded by iconic summits such as the Pic de Chateaurenard, Pic de Caramantran, Rocca Bianca, and Tête des Toilies. The chapel is a popular destination for hikers and can be reached on foot or by bike from Saint-Véran during the summer months
