The Calanques National Park is a unique coastal territory between sky and sea, located in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of France. The park is made up of 8,500 hectares of land and 43,500 hectares of maritime area, and is the only park in Europe that includes land, marine, and peri-urban areas. The park features 26 creeks, including the Port-Miou creek, which is bordered by two pontoons and offers a unique and charming spectacle. The park is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including underwater vegetation such as Posidonia, an aquatic flowering plant that shelters many species. The Calanques are a must-see when visiting Marseille, with some easily accessible and others less so, but all offering a unique and breathtaking experience
