Lac Sainte-Anne is a glacial lake located in the commune of Ceillac, in the Hautes-Alpes department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is situated at an altitude of 2,414 meters and is the largest lake in the Queyras region, with a surface area of 8.5 hectares. The lake is surrounded by a moraine that forms a dam and retains the water until it infiltrates into the permeable moraine. The lake's water level and color change with the seasons, offering a unique landscape. Visitors can access the lake through two hiking trails, one starting from the parking lot of Chaurionde and the other from the parking lot of the Ceillac station. The lake is a great destination for families who enjoy hiking and nature, with its stunning scenery and diverse wildlife
