The Chalets de Clapeyto are a collection of small alpine chalets located in the town of Arvieux, in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of France. The chalets are situated in a beautiful high mountain landscape within the Queyras Regional Natural Park. The area offers hiking and snowshoeing trails, including a 6.1-mile loop trail that leads to the beautiful Cogour lakes along the Peyron torrent and the Sellar torrent. The trail is considered moderately challenging and is open year-round. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The chalets are inhabited during the summer, and visitors can enjoy nice views from the area. The place is also known for its unique situation in the middle of a white desert and its history.
