What to expect

The Salin de Badon is a former royal saltworks with ruins of old buildings, offering a 4.5-kilometer pedestrian path for discovery. The site has three observatories and is part of the Camargue National Reserve. Visitors can explore the site, but photography is regulated, and dogs are not allowed. There is also a character gite on site with 20 beds, offering a rustic comfort with solar electricity and no running water. The gite is accessible for a fee, and reservations can be made at the Capelière. The site is suitable for families, but children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult
