Plage de la Gravette is a beautiful public beach in Antibes, located behind the ramparts at the end of the port. The beach has fine, white gravel and luminescent water, making it a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. It's a sheltered cove, shallow and protected by a rocky breakwater, which makes it perfect for kids to swim. The beach is also great for families, with a snack van selling sandwiches, fries, and ice-creams during the summer months. Additionally, the beach is close to the fantastic Provençal market, where you can find perfect picnic basket fodder, including giant wheels of cheese, olives, cured meats, and fresh bread. The beach has a picturesque backdrop of the tower of the Picasso museum and the jumble of old town roofs rising high above
