La Mer de Rochers, located in the heart of the Massif du Coutach, offers a magnificent spectacle, both wild and sculpted by nature over the centuries. This fairy-tale site is perfect for families to discover together. The stunning limestone chaos is revealed slowly along a network of small protected paths, surrounded by lush vegetation, including holm oaks and laurel trees. The site features fantastic rocks with improbable shapes, formed by time, wind, and rain, creating a lunar-like landscape. The area was once home to abundant orchards of cherry, peach, fig, and micocoulier trees, but these were abandoned due to the difficulty of working the land, and the garrigue vegetation took over. Visitors can explore the 5.5 km marked trail, which passes by the Castellas, a emblematic construction of Sauve, and the Château de Roquevaire, a vestige of a castle with uncertain origins
