What to expect

Micropolis, la Cité des insectes, is a museum dedicated to the entomologist Jean-Henri Fabre and inspired by the film Microcosmos. The museum has 15 rooms spread over 2,400 square meters and vast outdoor spaces, including a walk called the carnival of insects, where visitors can observe nature and see giant insects. Inside, visitors can meet over 40 species of living insects from around the world, watch the ballet of butterflies in the tropical greenhouse, and follow the parade of worker ants. The museum also offers interactive activities, such as a 3D cinema and a giant interactive wall. Outside, visitors can explore the biodiversity trail, play with giant metal insects, and enjoy the panoramic restaurant with local products
